A Toronto financial counsellor on a mission to show Canadians how to avoid the perils of debt needed a website. Fast. And cheap (on principle!). Could 13jupiters deliver?

Money Mavin, a debt counselling start-up in the Toronto area

Brief:

A content-rich website with seminar schedule and interactive elements including easy registration for events and requests for info. Oh, and make it blue - Toronto Maple Leaf blue!

Logo, some copy.

The client's request for blue - already reflected in the company's logo - meshed well with our inclination to use the color of commerce, with its well-documented associations of trust and reliability. On the other hand, the client's zest - and an eminently non-corporate message - seemed to call for touches of whimsy and warmth.

After extensive interviews with the client to pinpoint needs, we recommended against immediate inclusion of a full-fledged event calendar. Instead we implemented a pair of simple forms for quick user contact. But we built the site using the Drupal content management platform, allowing us to easily switch on an event calendar in the future.
